With 35 years mining experience, BRADFORD STUART INDUSTRIES was formed in 1991 by Mr. Jim Ball. The companies focus is on new technology and development which furthers safety and productivity.
BSI has developed products that include Belt Control, Pull Cord Switches, Pump Control, Welding Protection, Calibration Gases, Offline Ground Monitoring and Live Line Indicators. BSI has the SLC2 & SLC3 fail safe belt control and monitoring system. This detects a shorted cable and an open cable on conveyor belts, which assures the user they have a safe and reliable belt control system. It will also display which belt switch has the belt down and is compatible with the existing 2 conductor cable.
BSI has partnerships with Startco Engineering of Canada, Conspec Controls (a leader in Mine Monitoring Systems throughout the world), Cease Fire, (Fire Suppression Systems) including development of a unique FM approved system for battery charging) and Koz Cable Blocks (Modular Two Piece System that allows OEM'S and end users the flexibility to arrange their cable and secure them with a non-conductive clamp.) The blocks are UL Listed and can be used on cable from 1 inch to 6 inch.
